Dull and unreliable router bit

Based on my experience with this Industrial and Scientific cutting tool, I cannot recommend it .The blade remained dull even after minimal use and failed to CUT clean edges. The only positive aspect is that it is cheap. However, it is not worth the price if it doesn't perform the intended task..

Pros
  • Cheap price
Cons
  • Dull and unreliable

Excellent Router Bit for Clean Cuts

This carbide insert straight bit is a game changer. The clean edges on both soft and hardwoods are impressive. It's sharpness lasts through extended use. It's a workhorse and cost effective. The only con is that it requires a bit of force to change the inserts. Overall the industrial and scientific customers should consider this bit for any cutting need..

Pros
  • Durable tungsten carbide material ensures long-lasting use
Cons
  • More expensive than traditional straight bits

The drill bit size was confirmed (using digital calipers) as 1/4", which made it unusable for me. I wanted…

Pros
  • Dashed indentations and straight cuts for treated plywood
Cons
  • Disappear
