Review on πŸ₯„ Set of 6 Stainless Steel Measuring Spoons - 1/8 tsp, 1/4 tsp, 1/2 tsp, 1 tsp, 1/2 tbsp & 1 tbsp, Tablespoon and Teaspoon Metal Measuring Spoons for Liquid and Dry Ingredient Measurement by Alison Parker

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Bent and missing pieces arrived, deceptively large, flat

I have 5 sets of metal measuring spoons because I cook a lot. They all look about the same size and depth. I have this kit for measuring liquid fertilizer for my plants so I don't have to use kitchen kits. First a scraper for a spoon bent out of the box. And there wasn't a whisk. Okay, I could live without both since it's for liquid fertilizer. But the spoons are a bit larger than I'm used to, and while they hold the right amount, they're so shallow I had a terrific struggle to get the liquid to stay in the bowls of the spoons. Soon liquid fertilizer was everywhere, dripping from the sides of the pans. I finally got fed up with this already broken/missing set and sent it back. They may be ok for powders but not for liquids. The bowls of the spoons also look huge - about 1.5 times the measured amount, so I kept guessing the wrong spoon and had to check the handles each time to make sure I was the right size. too much trouble

Pros
  • πŸ–€ The rounded spoon heads provide a fairly accurate measurement and are easy to use with both liquid and dry ingredients, no spills.
Cons
  • Big and chunky
