Wall mounting had its pros and cons. It was strong enough to hold my 18 pound speakers, but there was a trade-off. The fasteners don't protrude much from the wall, making it difficult to tip down. This will be an issue with vertical speakers. I believe this was necessary to allow the mounts to support more weight. Assembly was made difficult by the fact that the nut on the underside of the bracket would not hold. It takes two hands to attach the speaker mount to the bracket and there is very little space between the speaker and the wall. Difficult but doable. You can try using a piece of tape to hold the nut in place. Overall very good quality and a good buy if it suits your mounting needs.
