Review on 🐠 Enhance Aquarium Filtration with Marineland PR1280 Reverse Flow Prefilter Sponge by Amanda Spencer

This pre-filter sponge picks up a lot of dirt without affecting pump flow too much. It has a hole that goes through the filter so it can't get completely clogged but about once a week I take it out and use a garden hose to blow out the dirt it caught and wow it holds a lot Dirt. If you just try rinsing it in a low-pressure sink it will look clean on the outside, but spray it into a bucket with high-pressure water from a garden hose and you'll see just how much dirt this filter sponge picks up. It's been a few months now and it's still working perfectly. Just bought another one for our other tank. I recommend it.
