Love it. Perfect fit for my powerheads. Although the hole is open to the end. I had to glue one end with hot glue. Everything went well.

I have 4 return filters - I was hoping to buy more filters but couldn't find them. These replacement parts are ideal and extend the usefulness of the filters.

Perfect for Whisper 10, 20 and 30 suction filters. I cut it in half down the middle and it makes two perfect filter sponges for a live birth tank on my Whisper filters

I bought this with the intention of putting it on my dip head. There is a hole in the filter. I don't feel comfortable when a fish or shrimp can be sucked through a bottom hole.

So glad I finally looked in here and found replacement filters, I have turtles that foul the water very quickly and I have had to clean my original filter every 5 days for 2 years and it has always been not good enough and fell apart. Now I replace the dirty one and throw it out every week or so and the power head is doing a much better job now too. Thank you for selling these

Good pre-filter. Fits HOT Magnum and most round air intakes. Fluval also makes good pre-filters if you need a smaller cell or a less coarse pre-filter. This Marineland will keep most juvenile fish out of your filter or pump, but the cells can be large enough for inverted babies to crawl through. One star deducted because of rubbish ("crumbs") in the packaging. Most likely it is just sponge lining and not material damage. This pre-filter sponge picks up a lot of dirt without affecting pump flow too much. It has a hole that goes through the filter so it can't get completely clogged but about once a week I take it out and use a garden hose to blow out the dirt it caught and wow it holds a lot Dirt. If you just try rinsing it in a low-pressure sink it will look clean on the outside, but spray it into a bucket with high-pressure water from a garden hose and you'll see just how much dirt this filter sponge picks up…
