I bought these MaxGear Nursery Book Shelves hoping they would be the perfect addition to my little one's room, and while they are nice, they fell a bit short of my expectations. First off, the natural solid wood is beautiful and rustic in design which gives off a quaint and cozy feeling in any room. The installation process was straightforward enough, but it was hard to level them correctly, ultimately causing them to stick out from the wall at an odd angle. Once they were all set up, I was disappointed in the amount of storage space they provided. I was able to only fit a few books and toys, and the spice rack feature was completely useless - the depth of the shelves is too narrow to fit anything except slim books. Overall, these floating bookshelves are a decent buy if you're just looking for a cute addition to a nursery or child's bedroom, but they don't offer much in terms of practical or functional storage.
