Easy to install, good instructions, finish and materials seem good, handles annoying sun glare over the kitchen sink in the brighter parts of the day, but cleans up easily at dusk and dawn and on cloudy days to let the light in. As it is in the window behind the kitchen sink it is great to have a cord to adjust the lampshade instead of having to pull the ring or the lampshade itself as it is very easy to adjust the amount of light you want in the kitchen, and still more importantly, it helps keep the lampshade itself clean and looking good, and we don't have to worry about getting our wet or dirty hands on the lampshade itself to adjust it. I definitely plan on buying more of these as I am renovating every room in my house to replace aging and outdated blinds. Because of the design I highly recommend them if you have something in your home like a workshop, garage, kitchen or bathroom where you want to be able to adjust the curtain easily and not touch it with dirty hands intentionally or accidentally for the ring.
