So easy! pulling off the paper to lay on the stairs.was a breeze.works great.I go up and down my stairs alot better and so do my pets.i plan on getting more to lay on my basement steps. definitely was worth the money to me I wish they'd have one of those rollers just this stick to the stairs better but I used my water bottle to do it
