I am very satisfied with this santoku knife. I've been using it almost every day since I received it a few days ago and I'm very impressed. The knife comes out of the box SHARP! Cutting vegetables and slicing meat was a breeze. This is a simple recommendation. I was also impressed with the sharpener that comes in the box. I used it on my old chef's knife as the santoku knife is already sharp. He did a great job getting all my old knives sharp again. In general, the package is excellent in terms of value for money.
