I bought this knife in May 2020 and have been using it almost every day for 8 months. It's not a deal breaker for me, but it tells me it's not a durable knife. I'm glad I bought it as it was very useful but I'm a little disappointed that it's already rusting.

I read all the reviews and was wondering why. This knife isn't as good as the $20 knife I got from Target. It's harder and after a while my hand and wrist start to hurt. It's not hard. I've used the sharpener that came with the kit and my own sharpener, but haven't been able to sharpen it. He can't even cut a tomato without pulling on the skin. abominable. Remember to dry it quickly or you will see rust.

This would make a great gift for a person who doesn't cook. I got it because it was half the price of the knife I was going to buy based on Revain Prime Day prices and I was like what the heck. Bought this knife as a gift for a friend who has just started taking cooking classes. He used to use typical Walmart knives. To be honest I hate going to his house and asking him to use the knife because they were all so boring. Personally, I have used various high quality German and Japanese steels.
