there's nothing wrong with them - solid metal at a reasonable price. I'm sure they will last forever. I just can't get used to the D ring they attach to! I like that they can be removed from the ring, but I doubt I ever will. A round ring with the same locking/unlocking feature would have given that 4.5 stars. I. It would be nice if the engraved marks were (well) outlined in black to make them more visible, maybe even on both sides. that would make it 5 stars
