Review on 2000 2008 Keyless Remote Programming Instructions by William Kava

I got one of these after both of my original units failed. My car has 157,000 miles and the new keyless remote isn't even programmable. The seller wanted me to take it to a FORD dealership as they thought I hadn't followed the programming instructions. The programming guide is confusing, but it's not rocket science. With so many miles my problem may be with the wireless controller on the car itself. My locks work but not with the remote. I'm not going to spend a hundred dollars for the dealer to fix the problem. If you buy one of these devices, treat it like gambling. The seller wasn't interested in customer service and it would cost about half the value of the item to return it. They agreed to take it back at my request.
