Review on Soundbar Sony HT-CT290/HT-CT291 by Itf Iffan ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not everything is so bad, the average purchase in quality.

If you only have a TV and want to get better sound, then in general a decent option. If before that you had, for example, some not too fancy with more or less normal speakers (for example, from an old music system), then you will be somewhat disappointed. Low frequencies are not very deep and are observed only at high sound volumes, there are medium frequencies, in principle, there are no special complaints about high frequencies. If you play via Bluetooth, then there is an opportunity to play with the equalizer, but from other media there is no such possibility. We have safely tired the JVC amplifier, which served our family for about 35 years (they knew how to do it). There is essentially no place to install a full-fledged 5.1 system, so we decided to buy a soundbar, there is some disappointment from the purchase, but I still think this is a very worthy budget option.

Pros
  • - Harmonious design - Ability to use as a Bluetooth speaker
Cons
  • - Bass is present only at high volume, sound settings on TV are turned off when connected via HDMI (only one sound mode is available). - Does not always recognize the inclusion of TV - The color is not white, but rather cream or beige. Not that it was critical, but there is some disharmony with white TV.
