We originally bought a medium size based on our 7 pound miniature poodle. It ended up fitting him everywhere except how long it was. His hands were quite tense. We ended up going right back and ordering the next size up because this medium is really great quality! The straps are perfect and the padding is thin and aesthetically pleasing. Zippers, Velcro, buckles - all of excellent quality. I also like the additional buckle strap that goes across the stomach/back. It's perfect for cycling when he gets tired while walking/hiking and for shopping with him. It will be great to be hands free. It looks really weird. I also wanted to mention that I emailed the company to explain the sizing issue and they responded within half an hour to send me a printed return label to send back a medium size that didn't fit, and given a full refund! Overall this is an amazing price for the quality you get. I hope they make more colors, I'll definitely be buying another one!
