I installed it on a 2007 Buck Lucerne with bad rear shocks. Assembly was easy and straightforward, all the necessary nuts, bolts and washers were included. The car transformed again from a boat plowing the seven seas into a well-controlled car. All I had to do was tie the old air ducts into the frame with tie down straps. I didn't even have to unplug the air compressor as I seem to only hear it once for a short time, just like before. I'm not sure, maybe the air compressor isn't working properly. On this machine, after installing these shock absorbers, all the shock and noise disappeared. With them we hear nothing, just silence and a comfortable ride. I also thought these dust covers might make noise, but they don't. The spring appears to have a rubber pad at the bottom, which I think also helps to muffle the noise. The rear ride height has increased, but it looks like it just went back to normal. If you look at the car standing at the entrance, it looks perfect. Very happy with these Monroe shock absorbers. For the price they are unbeatable if you want to do without air shocks. Will and will definitely be purchasing Monroe shocks for our other vehicles should the need arise. $300 plus shop estimate or $100 and 2 or 3 hours of labor to install with basic hand tools. For me the choice was easy. I hope it gets even easier for you.
