I bought these tap shoes to replace a cheaper brand I didn't know the name of. I went for the slip on style as I don't want to mess with laces. I like the flexible sole. The shoes are comfortable and the kicks sound way better than my cheap pair. Much better! I put insoles on my shoes and they are still comfortable. They fit great without the added footbed, but my feet appreciate the extra cushioning. I have calluses on both feet in the same place. Size: I ordered my usual street shoe size 5.5. I tap at home about 10 hours a week and use videos as my teachers. The last time I tapped in class was probably 1976 or 1977. Happy typing!
