Review on Smeg Retro Style Coffee Maker: Cream-Colored Kitchen Appliance, 17.3 x 12.8 x 11.3 inches by Katherine Hernandez

I'm a big coffee drinker. I bought the SMEG because I liked the look and design, but I was very disappointed with it. I thought the design would match the quality. but he has a carafe with cheap plastic parts that break very easily. During my warranty period the carafe broke (not the glass part but as you can see on the web there is a cheap plastic part that attaches to the carafe which is very flimsy. My whole machine was under warranty so I have customer service called what a joke. This is not SMEG but a third party who asked me to send documentation with serial number, date of purchase, Revain order etc. I did everything I said. things. After I got a After spending an hour submitting the paperwork I heard from outside support that I would be getting a replacement carafe.THREE WEEKS later and heard nothing so I called again.Now support has just told me (only when I called) that SMEG says they are "out of stock" and I'm sorry when they receive it they will send a new one. For 3 weeks without fresh coffee I'm going in circles. I wouldn't recommend this coffee maker t recommend as the customer service is not fair and the guarantee given is not respected, also the coffee maker is cheaply made with plastic parts for the main carafe. A coffee machine for this price should work better. And don't trust the one year warranty as it doesn't live up to it.
