Very sharp, low barrel distortion, fast and light - all at the right price.

Bought this lens for my Nikon D50 camera. Combined with a round polarizing filter and a beautiful blue sky (with small clouds), this lens delivers stunning shots. I won't bother you with all the technical details - you can read about it on the product description page. This lens needs good light - by that I mean lots of natural light or the help of your extra flash. The built-in flash of my camera is barely sufficient for wide-angle shots. In good light, even normal JPG shots show little to no pixel noise. I've had it installed on my camera since I bought it. Sharp, fast and light - just enough to keep me happy. Very satisfied. Thanks Tamron for another great lens.
