Good bright lens.

I bought this lens for indoor use at family gatherings and landscape photography. I knew it was a fast lens (f/2.8) but was surprised by its physical size. I was also amazed at the size of the filter required. Anyway, I gave the lens to my son (we both shoot with the Nikon D50) and he LOVES this lens. Pros
  • Max. magnification - 1 - 9.6
Cons
  • weak

I won't bother you with all the technical details - you can read about it on the product description page. This lens needs good light - by that I mean lots of natural light or the help of your extra flash. The built-in flash of my camera is barely sufficient for wide-angle shots. In good light, even normal JPG shots show little to no…

Pros
  • Di technology conforms to DSLR specs
