Be careful when using hermit crabs

This product is fine. My hermit crabs love it and use it to climb. I have cooked cholla in dechlorinated water with a salt solution. After about a week I noticed mold growing on it. I washed it, boiled it again and after a week the mold started growing again. I wanted to take a risk and hurt my hermits, so I ended up throwing it away. This may not be suitable for tanks that require more moisture than heat.
