This product does not fully cover the eye to be bandaged and is not a suitable replacement for a disposable adhesive patch. It's such a great concept and my little one was so excited to have a band-aid instead of a band-aid but she immediately told me she can see up, down and into the inside corner. In order for the patch to act as a corrective to strengthen the weaker eye, the "good" eye must be completely closed. Unfortunately, this product does not fully facilitate the therapy. I would not recommend this product as a replacement. This can be used over a band-aid to dress up a band-aid if your child is embarrassed about the band-aid or needs something to make it funnier. Note that when used over a patch, the cloth patch will press against the patch and may cause discomfort.
