This was pretty easy to install, though it had no instructions and did require a drill. The biggest issue is the spring that makes the two pieces hold together pops out. We installed two and the first spring came out the minute we pushed the couches together, and the other did a couple hours later. We just put rubber bands around the end to hold the 2 pieces together. It seems to be working but this product does not function as it is supposed to.
