Review on π€ Kenwood KMR-M328BT Marine Digital Media Receiver: Alexa, Bluetooth & No CD Playback by Ramon Hood
After 1 year the amplifier failed. Doesn't really deserve the label "marine grade " or weatherproof.
Like others here the internal amplifier is defective. Mine broke down a year later, just days after the warranty expired. Installed in a boat. In the past, cheap non-naval units lasted longer, although they eventually failed as well. The board is visible from the back and after removing the heatsink you can see that several pins on the internal amplifier are shorted.
