LOW SCORE BASED ON FAIL. The fuse has blown. How the board is soldered inside. The fuse failed to protect the internal circuitry. I soldered the board and replaced the fuse. Works fine at first.

As others have said, there is nothing marine about it. Mine worked for 2 months and doesn't work. Sent, they said corrosion. No guarantee. Now I have a newspaper that weighs $130. I thought that a company with a well-known brand would treat its customers better.

Installed a few months ago, works well. Now the receiver has entered armed mode and will not sleep. See 5 or 6 how to remove the setting, neither worked. The last video of the repair showed a man hitting it with a sledgehammer. I think this is the only video that works.

Nice, simple, light weight unit, I replaced an old CD unit that was swaying and rattling in the bow of the boat. This device fell in place, no major problems. Incredible sound and features. Alexa is too cool on the boat. Don't think twice, this Marine Bluetooth Radio USB with Alexa offers excellent value for money.

Like others here the internal amplifier is defective. Mine broke down a year later, just days after the warranty expired. Installed in a boat. In the past, cheap non-naval units lasted longer, although they eventually failed as well. The board is visible from the back and after removing the heatsink you can see that several pins on the internal amplifier are shorted.

Bought this radio for my boat on June 21, 2020. Installed and used in the dock. One day I went to the sea and the radio stopped. After uninstalling and reinstalling (wrong connection error) uninstalled a second time and it worked the same day. Came back to the boat less than a week later and tried to turn it on. The light is on but there is no setting. Turned off, then turned on, but no power. Did a factory reset. I have checked that the radio is getting power and that it is. Checked rear fuse.

Installed in a boat last weekend. It worked fine on the water for several days and then suddenly gave a "Protection Sending Service" error that rendered it inoperable. A few quick Google searches reveal this to be a common Kenwood problem. Thankfully I was able to reset the receiver following the YouTube video, but it's only a matter of time before this comes up again. There's almost no weather protection over a standard car stereo, and I doubt this thing will survive a light splash - let alone
