We called the mechanic and he charged us $80 to replace the oven sensor. However, this sensor from Bluestars was significantly more economical and, after some effort, fully operational. Removed the back panels of the oven and unscrewed the old sensor and it basically acted as a plug in play device. In a few minutes he was ready to go. After installing this new sensor we had no errors and the sensor itself appears to be lighter than the original part that came with the oven. The cable itself that connects to the board is much longer than the original. I love the fact that I get the extra length to work with. We have cooked 4 days so far and this sensor seems very reliable and I expect my old oven to last another 5-10 years. Thank you Bluestars for such a great product and I would highly recommend if you want to skip the handyman and save money!
