This device sits in a strange land between enterprise-class hardware and home office hardware. Nobody asked for it. I'm a network engineer, I've worked with Cisco, HP, Nokia, Sierra Wireless, etc. They all have their quirks when it comes to configurations and I've experienced each of them. It was just stupid. It erases its own configuration in no time. Part of the setup had to be done with a "wizard", part with a hash drop-down tree, and part with a standalone software package "Ubiquity nms" (UNMS) to prevent it from deleting itself and forces me to start over. . In the end I didn't see any real improvement over the PfSense solution I temporarily put together in a VM (apart from a couple of pretty diagrams). If you need a 24VDC (non-standard) POE multiport bridge, buy this thing or run away.
