I have been using Guardline for over 5 years. I have 2 receivers (one above and one below) and 4 sensors. 2 receivers and 4 detectors work together and synchronize each other. There have been few problems over the years. Customer service was great when the problem arose. Inside the sensor you can adjust the motion and distance sensitivity, as well as the reset button. A few years ago there were problems with high humidity and the alarm continues to work. So I disassembled it and let it dry at home for a few days. I then put a small desiccant inside the sensor (like you find in pill bottles, vitamins, etc.). As an extra precaution, I put masking tape on the back of the case. I also use masking tape to cover the screw holes so dirt doesn't fill the holes with bugs or time. Holes used to be grabbed like a dirty dobber. No problem since I've done these extra steps. Batteries last a long time, change about once a year or a little longer. I use Duracell. I have brown sensors. 2 sensors are at least 300 feet from home, one 25 feet away and one on the back door. Motion detection at least 100 feet. At the most sensitive settings, wind blowing on a flower can set off a false alarm. Adjust the angle to avoid plants, or place the sensor in a more convenient location, or adjust the sensitivity. This product provides a sense of security when someone or an animal enters your area of concern. I use this system with camera system. So if the security guard sounds the alarm, I can look at the camera for clarification. Complete package.
