I give these pens 0 stars. More than half of the pins are torn along the entire length of the shaft. You can see cracks on the tips and bottom of the pins. The paint on the case hides most, but not all. In addition, some pencils not only have cracks, but also large pieces of a wooden barrel that have simply been varnished. While different colored pencils are fine (I have over 50 sets of pencils, ranging from Crayola to Holbeins), using and sharpening these pencils will cause them to fall apart. I contacted the seller 2 days before writing this review but heard nothing. Very disappointed! DO NOT BUY! *UPDATE OCTOBER 21, 19* The seller sent me a set of replacement pencils and they don't have the problems that the original set had. There are no cracks or pieces of wooden barrels. My first game must have been a bad game. I haven't seen any other reviews that indicate issues with the pens. Pencils work well in a budget set.
