Bought one of these to check size/fit. Unfortunately, it was damaged in transit by a heavy, unlined item that Revane placed in the same crate as him. But at least I could see that it might work for my purpose. There are reviews here that say it's only 8 inches tall and even posted a photo with "8 inches" on the box label. However, mine was advertised as 11 inches labeled as 11 inches and stands 11 inches at its highest point (or close to that, depending on the angle). I'm going to return this one and maybe try a few more of these. They are assembled from fairly light raw wood with thin wire staples (no screws), so these easels are by no means heavy loads. For static displays and lighter illustrations and at this price it's probably ok. Incidentally, the bottom tray is about 7.5" wide, 3/4" deep (to the support edge"), and the bottom legs are 6 3/4" apart. I hope the full dimensions are helpful as I was looking for this information when I bought this but couldn't find it.
