Ideal for small cameras but not for DSLRs

I've had 15 of these! so why three stars? They are ideal for smaller cameras up to DSLRs with a small lens like a kit lens or a 50mm lens. DO NOT buy it for more. I don't care what other people say. I've been using them for a long time to know what they can hold. You put something heavy on it and it starts to detach from the ball head. and at some point the ball head can no longer be tightened. It is very important! I've also used them to hold the Triple Flash socket and slide the umbrella through. it cannot bear the weight of the umbrella shift! So why do I keep buying them? As I said. They are perfect for small cameras! I have three gopros, two sony nexes and a few other small cameras that don't weigh much. This ball head is perfect for her! This ball head is really very small so I can put it in my pocket without taking up space. I love her! Okay, you love her so much, then why three stars? PRICE! For just a few dollars, you can get a Ball Head Quick Release Plate for the CowboyStudio Pro BK-03 Gradient Camera Tripod. This head now seamlessly supports a full-frame DSLR with a boom mic and 16-35mm lens. Never slip. I even put on a full frame DSLR with a Sigma 120-300 lens (it's really hard!). It is amazing! and only a few dollars more. However, it is significantly larger than Giotto's ball head. I've waited 3 years to write this review! I think I know this product very well! I hope this review has helped
