How lucky I found this on the internet! I left another review for the little plastic top that sits in the middle of the rubber cap. I stated in this review that I made smoothies with my 2 year old grandson. When I turned to take the fruit it wasn't connected and I turned around for maybe 2 seconds. Turning around, I dropped the fruit, pocketed it, and turned it on when it started making other noises. Well, my grandson threw the little plastic top into the blender when I wasn't looking and it was obvious I wasn't seeing it. This piece of plastic was causing the blender to jam, causing this piece I purchased to seize and crack. It was really easy to swap out and the parts matched the broken Vitamix parts exactly.
