Review on Efficient Standard Ignition RU-493 Blower Motor Resistor for Optimal Performance by Derrick Milkie

Fits perfectly on my 2006 Dodge Stratus. At the same time I replaced the fan motor which eliminated the squeaky noise I got when the fan was on. Easy fix for a do-it-yourselfer with some basic hand tools, but be prepared to crawl under the passenger-side dash to access. There are videos on YouTube that explain how to replace them, as well as how-to websites. Be sure to replace the motor and resistor at the same time. If one goes, it probably means the other isn't far behind anyway.
