Efficient Standard Ignition RU-493 Blower Motor Resistor for Optimal Performance Review

If you have a problem with the fan only running at high RPM (on Chrysler and Dodge 01-06 cars) this part is probably to blame! Item arrived quickly and works great.

Ideal for damaged parts; It took me a little longer to pin down the old part, but I was able to fix the car myself for the cost of that part (the dealer wanted $350 and the "side job" mechanic wanted $150...my total cost was $10 and about 2 hours of my time.

Fits perfectly on my 2006 Dodge Stratus. At the same time I replaced the fan motor which eliminated the squeaky noise I got when the fan was on. Easy fix for a do-it-yourselfer with some basic hand tools, but be prepared to crawl under the passenger-side dash to access. I had a problem with my fan on my 2006 Dodge Stratus SXT. When the selector was set to '1' or '2' it didn't work at all, but settings '3' and '4' (high) worked fine.
