This center stand works as expected. The included spring feels a little too stretched when the stand is down, but time will tell. Breaks in properly (see argument #3) and fits snugly against the rubber bumper on the factory muffler tongue. Simple tools to do it...well, except for the peanut grinder part. Stretching the spring to fasten is also an ordeal, but you'll figure it out. There's nowhere for washers, so I used a lock washer under the hex head of the bolt and also in front of the nut. It worked well. professionals; * Functions. * Looks solid. * Seems to fit and behave as you would hope. * CB500X rises nicely on the stand. Disadvantages; * No instructions. But it's pretty straight forward. * Before you begin, you will need to obtain a 5/8” x 4-1/2” bolt with a nut and two lock washers. I used a standard coarse thread because I couldn't find a 9/16" machine thread bolt.
