I really wanted to use this but unfortunately it didn't work for me, here is what I have used and tried I have a Canon M6 Mark ii with VILTROX EF-EOS M2 Speed Booster and regular VILTROX EF-EOS adapter. Both connected flawlessly, but I couldn't get rid of flipping the switch and rotating the lens to unlock the error. I updated the speed booster and lens firmware and nothing changed. I also have a Canon M50 Mark I and it worked great with every adapter so I have some feedback. FYI: I suspect the M50 Mark II might not work. The lens sounds, as everyone says, like imagining a robot's leg making a sound as it walks and takes big strides. It's noisy, and in autofocus video, your footage is useless if you use the built-in or built-in mic. There is even some noise outside of the camera microphone. I took some pictures and they turned out really great and I was sad to send them back. It says we need a port to update the firmware and it's true. Plug it into your computer and it will show up as a flash drive. You just copy and paste the firmware and the lens does the rest. When the file disappears, the update is complete. Defect? There is only one firmware file available and it dates from 2018, as far as I can tell there are currently no lens updates for compatibility. In general I would like to keep him, he would make a beautiful portrait and landscape. lens (also street photography).
