Review on 🦈 Gold/Silver Shark Upright & Canister Vacuum Cleaner by Jana Johnson

I would not recommend this vacuum cleaner. In terms of performance, everything is fine. I was trying to solve some problems I had with my previous vacuums (Bissels), but this vacuum has other problems. Pros: 1) My Bissells were too heavy and unwieldy, especially on my thick carpet. The Shark Navigator is much lighter and easier to control thanks to its pivoting function. It seems to pick up just as much dirt and dust as my previous vacuums. 2) The hose has great suction, the best I've seen. The Bad: These are issues I didn't address until I realized they weren't enough in Shark Navigator. .1) Edge cleaning. i have small children They leave a trail of crumbs, scraps of paper and beads. If you move the vacuum cleaner along the wall or next to furniture (sofa), it will leave a dirt trail next to the wall. The Bissells I've had before cleaned everything up and left nothing visible around the edges so I didn't even use a hose cleaner/crevice tool cleaner every time I vacuumed. Now, with the Shark, this is an absolute must. Which brings me to my next point: 2) The hose. The hose is very long and extendable. HOWEVER, the rigid portion is less than 2 feet long and does not extend. So you'll have to bend down to run the crevice tool along the edges where the wall and floor meet, which as said, you'll have to do EVERY TIME! You can't reach a fan or the corners of your ceiling with a hose to get cobwebs, you have to pull a stool around the house. When I vacuum, it's usually an urgent job and I don't have time for all that extra work and preparation! It doesn't seem like much, but it adds up. And another thing that's holding me back: 3) Cord. I don't know the exact specs of the cable, but it's SHORT. The shortest cable I've ever owned. I can't do my whole living room or bedroom without switching to a different outlet. I have to move several times to do the whole house. Waste of time again trying to cram a 10 minute vacuum in. I would not buy this particular vacuum cleaner again. Too many cons, although it solved the problems I had with previous vacuums.
