works well on linux with opencpn

This little USB GPS can turn your laptop into a chartplotter. Using OpenCPN and NOAA charts (free download) along with this USB mouse, you can see your progress on the laptop screen, as well as speed and direction. OpenCPN can be downloaded for both Windows and Linux, but I've never used this GPS mouse on Windows. USB GPS is displayed as a COM port.
