Terrible to Use: Royal Flush of Dangerous Electronics

I can honestly say that if I were ever looking for the best way to stay up at night these things would stay plugged in (I have two of them bought , by the way). When I immediately took them out of the packaging, they just seemed unnaturally cheap and very dubious. Therefore, when connecting, the power switches to turn on were very lost. It took several tries to activate one of them (the first big problem). Now for the second most important point, to plug anything with a grounding plug (three prong plug) into it, I had to use an inordinate amount of force to plug it into the extension cord. One of the connectors actually sounded like something was broken in the surge protector. These two factors alone should be more than enough to justify a potential fire hazard. But I've always been a researcher into how potentially dangerous a product on Revain could be. I decided to give it a try. Now for the third and most disturbing thing in this regard; They got VERY hot trying to use them. Not warm and not hot. but as legitimately HOT. So much so that I didn't know whether to turn it off or try grilling cheese with it. I suppose if it were advertised as an electronic skillet instead of a surge protector I'd be on my way to sandwich bliss; instead of remembering where the fire extinguisher was. So do yourself a favor and spend the extra cash so you don't have to worry about setting your house on fire. **Note** - When I tested the device, there were strong power fluctuations when switching the device on/off. So he did a terrible job even with a basic function.
