Review on MotoFab Lifts 96 F150 2WD Front Leveling by Brian Price

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Cheap simple solution for fat tires.

I installed them on my short 1996 F150 body which had so many rakes built in that it looked like a garden arrow. Fits well, although I'm not sure why a flat point is needed as they don't even come close to dropping the axle and the extension bolts don't allow the spring retainer to firmly grip the bottom of the spring so it snaps in negative load situations, it unless you use standard shock absorbers that are too short after installation. I solved this problem with something that I believe should come with this kit. I made my own shock mount blocks and placed the mount a distance away from the control arm. They did what they say and I can't be too picky about the money spent. Another important fact is that you must purchase 4 degree ball joint adjusters to maintain correct front end geometry.
