It's a great vacuum cleaner once you learn how to use it.

From personal experience with this product you will know that this is a great vacuum if you take the time to learn how to use it. The main feature is the very strong suction power. Whether you use it on a hard floor like tile or hardwood or even carpet, you will be very happy with it. But learn how to set the suction and use the minimum suction required for quality work. Also learn how and when to use a motorized floor brush. Do not attempt to use the motorized floor brush on carpets or rugs unless you know how to adjust the suction and when to use the motorized floor brush and when not. This vacuum can pick up corners and woven carpet threads faster than you can blink. Once the filament unravels and wraps around the motorized floor brush, it can easily destroy the bushings on the ends of the brush. According to Shark Ninja, the bushings are not replacement parts. I was told that we would need to replace the entire motorized floor brush head. Damage to the sockets is not the fault of the vacuum cleaner. This is the user's fault. With full or even high suction and motorized brush rotation, if you run the vacuum cleaner over the edge of the carpet and lift the carpet yarn, it can quickly wrap around the brush roller and permanently damage the roller bushings. Also, be careful not to walk over the cord when rotating the motorized brush. You can easily damage the cable, brush bushings or motor. Learn how and when to adjust the suction strength with the ring on the extension tube, and honestly, don't use a motorized brush on a decorative rug, rug, or loose rugs. With these limitations in mind, this vacuum cleaner fills a canister to collect dirt that will surprise you on carpeted or hard floor surfaces. We bought this 'Refurbished' Shark NV351 to replace our damaged one which worked perfectly until we caught the end of a piece of carpet yarn. This 'refurbished' unit looks and works like new and as with our previous one we are very happy with it. Note the warranty issue. In the Product Information section, Revain's listing says "5 Year Limited Warranty". The manufacturer's documentation that came with our device states a 90-day warranty. The seller referred me to Revain and Revain customer service told me to rely on the Shark 5 year warranty. But for this question I would definitely give the product 5 stars.
