Review on 🔋 010480 Cell Saver Battery Insulation Kit for Design Engineering by Alex Jones

The 4 year old OEM battery in my 2016 Sentra finally died and I had to get an aftermarket replacement. The OEM battery came with a preformed sleeve that didn't quite fit the new battery so I got this kit to compensate. The packaging fitted fairly well, with only a small trim. It was large enough to cover a new battery, so larger batteries may require a higher enclosure. Also, I made some cutouts around the connectors to avoid short circuits - I expect the metal outer layer to be conductive! If the battery cable connectors are too close to the cover, it may also be a good idea to use electrical tape.
