I live in Arizona and it's getting hot. In winter, temperatures can drop to below zero. Good product. Wraps up the entire battery for the Chevrolet Silverado, had to cut a few notches for the battery pin but no big deal. Ideal for keeping batteries cool in summer, warm in winter and most importantly clean. Ideal. Combine this with a floating charger and you get the ultimate battery life.

Junk - not long enough to wrap battery. Funnily enough, they charge a premium for a product that's thin and flimsy as hell, and then don't sell you enough to fit the full circumference of the battery. And the bottom foil for your battery compartment doesn't fit either. Be sure to cut the height to be less than the height of your battery, as you will be bending over the earbud during installation if the battery cables touch it during installation.

The thing is great, but I have a problem with it. The foil is very conductive. And that's good. It is highly reflective and also reflects light. But if you accidentally touch it with battery cables, it will short circuit and melt. This is made worse when your battery cables fold down and out of the way, like mine. However, there is a solution that the DEI will not implement for cost reasons. You can simply cut the foil in 4-6 places and tear the wiring from side to side with an elastic band…

The insulating strip wrapped around my battery works great on my 2009 Nissan 370z. I ride Z when there is no snow or snow on the ground. Let's see if this will prevent battery drain in Frozen Tundra (Wisconsin). It can get cold here and sometimes the battery can run out. The insulating tape was very thin. The 4 year old OEM battery in my 2016 Sentra finally died and I had to get an aftermarket replacement. The OEM battery came with a preformed sleeve that didn't quite fit the new battery so I got this kit to compensate. The packaging fitted fairly well, with only a small trim.
