Great whistling kettle
I used the kettle for hard boiled eggs. When the kettle is cold, I sprinkle in vegetable oil. This spray makes cleaning easier. Then I poke a 1/4 inch hole in the shell of each egg. (warmed water gets under the peel and is very easy to peel). Then put the eggs in the kettle and fill up with water. It takes about 10 minutes for 9 eggs to boil water. When the kettle whistles I just turn off the heat and wait 20 minutes and the eggs are hard boiled.
