Not as advertised. We have a larger 16 inch sidewall tire (235/85/R16). We averaged 1 3/8" as advertised, we measured before ordering. We bought in March and went camping in West Virginia only to find when we got there and set up that they weren't between the tires The pad itself needs to be 2" longer (taller) / 1" wider at the top and bottom for the tire's pads to actually fit between the top and bottom of the tires as they won't slide in. Maybe I can kick, and pound the pad in place, possibly cutting the tire while I'm doing it, but I guarantee I'll never get it out again, just wouldn't buy unless you have full 2 or 3" tire clearances. Called BAL X-chock customer service today, they understand and apologize, they say sometimes they don't fit with big sidewalls, but you have to return via Revain, which as mentioned, due to order and usage problems ng time we can't.
