Description of πŸ”’ X-Chock Wheel Stabilizer - Pair of One-Handle Stabilizers (Model 28012)

Provides added stabilization and prevents tire shifts by applying opposing force to tandem tire applications. As opposed to other chocks, the X-Chock works with the tires’ natural movement instead of against them. Fits even the tightest of applications retracting down to 1 3/8” and extends to 10”. Rust inhibitive coating. Plated ratchet wrench with comfort bumper included. Item weighs 11.2 lbs.

Should have bought them sooner

Best investment but wish I had bought them when I got my first trailer. My axles are as close together as possible and the X-choke still fits in between. I can't believe how many "hops" he made out of the trailer with people running around. Don't hesitate to buy, they won't disappoint you!

NO MORE ROCKING: wheel immobilizers and pads

when my husband was running. I decided to give them a chance. A lot of people said they were heavy so I first opened them up a bit and then put them back in place and adjusted as needed. I'm 26 years old, a semi-skilled female and installed it in less than 5 minutes with no problems and felt the result immediately!

  • cool product
Cons
  • I don't remember but something was rocking

Lock it tight and never worry about changing campers again.

Holy cow. These are probably the best camper wheel chocks I've ever used. We have a 32ft trailer and took it to the mountains this weekend. The wheel chocks locked the wheels better than any chocks I've ever used and are the same hex head size as the sway bars so locking with an impact wrench with adapter was a matter of seconds. 11/10 I would recommend to everyone.

These items are excellent for cutting almost any back and forth motion.

These items are great for reducing almost all of my TT's back and forth vibration. Using a pair works best. I've only experimented with one. This worked fine, but using two is the best way. Keep in mind that they are not designed to replace traditional wheel chocks. Speaking of which, using it in combination with strong rubber pads that you can tap on with a small rubber mallet to firmly press the tires in works great. Buy them if you're still undecided. They work very well.

  • Not bad

You need teeth! Best tools and equipment

Both seem to work and fit well. They're a bit awkward to install and I find it best to press them against one hoop and widen them to the point where they almost touch the second hoop to get them lined up properly. I have a small cordless drill with a 3/4" adapter that I use for stabilizer bushings and it also fits these pads. Luckily I have enough space for a small drill press so installation isn't difficult. is that the pads that come into contact with the tire are smooth. I feel like they…

A nice addition to our camper but not a necessity

I bought my first camper in April 2018 and soon came across it. But with all the other first time purchases I've put them aside for now. Also, I already had several different wheel chocks, so I wasn't concerned about safety. Then, as I was getting the camper ready for the first ride of the year, I noticed that it rocked more inside with my dogs. these are no longer puppies! So I decided to try them and went ahead and got them. and I'm using it on my first outing right now. To be honest, I'm not

  • Almost never

The chocks are NOT trailer tire stabilizers

X-Chock works as advertised but CANNOT be used as a chock replacement. The BAL contains a notice that its use when raising a trailer or raising/lowering a jack WILL VOID the warranty. They can only be used AFTER the trailer has been leveled and MUST BE REMOVED before preparing to hitch. So you still need wheel chocks to secure the trailer for other uses. This was not clearly stated in the description. You will only find it if you read the reviews or the Q&A (must expand to read all answers)…

Great product, great price.

Very satisfied! This is a great price for a product that exceeded my expectations. We used them on a 31 foot trailer with about 8 inch wheel spacing. Before we got them, the trailer shifted and shook when someone moved. I have because my fenders on the trailer prevent me from positioning them so the adjusting nut is up, which would make opening/closing the jacks easier (see wrenches to work against gravity and slip off when I'm setting up quickly ". But that's a problem with my setup, not the…

Does not match what is stated.

Not as advertised. We have a larger 16 inch sidewall tire (235/85/R16). We averaged 1 3/8" as advertised, we measured before ordering. We bought in March and went camping in West Virginia only to find when we got there and set up that they weren't between the tires The pad itself needs to be 2" longer (taller) / 1" wider at the top and bottom for the tire's pads to actually fit between the top and bottom of the tires as they won't slide in. Maybe I can kick, and pound the pad in place, possibly
