Review on 🔧 Enhance Performance with GM Genuine Parts 215-616 Secondary Air Injection Pump and Bracket by Malik Axmed

I bought this for my father-in-law's 2008 Chevy Impala. The remote start stopped working due to the misdirection of the secondary air injection system, P0411. I first replaced the service air injection check valve, which didn't fix the problem. This pump is mounted at the front of the engine under the air box. My guess is that water got into the pump and blocked it, preventing it from letting air through. It was an easy exchange. All in all, I probably saved some money by going to the dealer and letting them take care of it. I probably had more fun with the car than the dealer! Oh, and don't believe the description of this item, it's not a fuel pump assembly, it's a secondary air injection pump. My father-in-law was very concerned when it arrived and the packing list said 'fuel pump' - he thought I didn't know what I was doing!
