Great mat, definitely heat resistant.
Great mat, I use it for electronics soldering and it can withstand the solderer's tip heated up and doesn't deform. I have also used it as a protection for a laser engraver and the laser didn't went through.
- The magnetic properties of the mat help keep small screws and components in place
- May not be suitable for use with certain types of solder
