This is a well built non stick pan. There is nothing wrong with this pan; This is one of the best nonstick pans I've ever used. We make sure both ends of the pan are about the same temperature and we don't have any warping issues. The Teflon-based non-stick technology used has its advantages and disadvantages. The advantages are that it really works and doesn't require much maintenance. It is also compatible with my induction hob with a glass lid. The downside is that it self-destructs and you want to get rid of it before it flakes off. You should only use this pan on low to medium power, you should use non-stick cookware (wooden, plastic/nylon or silicone), you should never wash it in the dishwasher, you shouldn't use detergents of any kind (certainly NOT STEEL FLOOR, METAL WASHING OR MAGIC ERASER) i. We still buy a new one about every 18 months or two years. Note, however, that these pans are well made and coated with one of the best, most durable non-stick surfaces I've ever used. The coating will let you down long before the rest of the pan does. It's just the nature of the animal.
