I strongly advise against buying this product. It's an elegant idea, and once you interpret the cryptic and imprecise installation instructions, installation will go quickly. I bought 2 of these and installed them only to find that the LITERAL remote range is about 24 inches. this. Would you like to turn one of the lights on or off? You must immediately stand under the light, stretch out your arm and point the remote directly at the light to receive an action. SERIOUS. If you have high ceilings or dream of turning on your porch lights from the comfort of your own home before venturing out after dark, it just won't work. As I carefully deciphered the incomprehensible English to Chinese to English translation instructions that came with it, it seems that the range will be exactly as I experienced it, that is, completely useless. If I hadn't put so much energy into installing these lights, I would have pulled them out and put them back in. They should NOT be sold as a remote control as the range contradicts that claim.
