Review on Boye Bamboo Knitting Needle Sizes by Kelsey Brown
Rough, a little deformed, but after a little work turning the ugly diver into a swan, everything is fine.
I expected a better quality product from Boye. They were pretty rough upon receipt and some of them were quite warped. It was a reduced set and was missing the end stop. Fixed with a wooden bead. Then, since the set couldn't be taken back, I set about sanding them smooth. As finer and finer grits were used, they became shiny and smooth. And part of the beauty of bamboo needles is that I could reshape the tips to my liking.
